Daily Skyline
Daily Skyline is a daily 5×5 skyscraper logic puzzle. Everyone in the world gets the same grid today — read the edge clues, place buildings 1 through 5, beat your time. No ads, no account.
- React Native
- Expo
- TypeScript
- Game Center
- Next.js

Problem
Skyscraper puzzles usually live in books or one-off web toys. There is no shared daily board, so you cannot compare a time with anyone who played the same grid.
Approach
One deterministic 5×5 puzzle per calendar date — same clues, same difficulty, everywhere. I shipped it as an iOS app (Expo / React Native) with notes, undo, a mistake limit, on-device streaks, an archive of missed days, optional Game Center leaderboards, and a marketing site at dailyskyline.muratoncu.com.
Tradeoffs
No account means you can play immediately, but progress lives on the device — a reinstall can drop a streak. iOS shipped first; Android is not in the store yet. Difficulty ramps through the week instead of letting players pick a puzzle size.
Outcome
Live on the App Store as a five-minute daily habit. No sign-up, no ads, no IAP in the current listing.
